The new trend of wearing watches that don’t work

Since years there are lot of people that wear watches that doesn’t work… I wear one too!

Because even a stopped watch is right twice a day.

Yeah… that would be true.

There are two answers already posted:

1. Sentimentality — this makes some sense but why not have it repaired or keep it at home? I guess that’s what ‘sentimental’ means.
2. Fashion — this is the kind of action that gives fashion a bad name. Luckily, fashion doesn’t care and continues to wear inapropriate things because they look good.
