Thanks to this breathing-mental exercise I can relax my body in 5 minutes
I practice this exercise at home, in the office, while driving, in the evening…
This is a breathing exercise that I practice every day, especially in the evening when I need to relax and leave a heavy and stressful day behind.
It is also an excellent exercise for practicing freediving and underwater sport.
Start by relaxing, more mentally than physically, empty your mind… forget everything for a moment. Even where are you going.
Breathe.
Inhale and exhale. Do this for 2 minutes.
After relaxing mentally first, then physically. Take a very long sigh until your lungs inflate with oxygen and hold your breath as if you were in apnea.
Take it easy.
Avoid bodily and physical actions, otherwise the body will require oxygen and the exercise will end before it even begins.
This will also help you REGENERATE yourself on a psycho-mental level. It’s a great battery switch.
You are about to finish the exercise. Start throwing out air (held during the apnea period) from your nose… slowly let the air out.
PS: Do so suddenly from the nose or mouth will make you dizzy.
Throw out and breathe slowly and calmly, relaxing your muscles and mind.
It changes your day. And if you add a camomile tea after the exercise, you’ve done bingo!
